The palace covered an area of 17,000 square metres.

It consisted of a ground floor divided into exhibition halls in which the following groups took place:
Electric and electrochemical industries; electric lighting in all these manifestations. Telegraphy and telephony; various applications of electricity; motive power, wind and water engines, steam engines, motors and accessories; applied mechanics; regulators and accumulators; measuring and control devices; chemical industries with their materials and processes; laboratory apparatus; chemical products, drugs of all kinds; agglomerates and derivatives, etc.
