All of the wood panels in this section are sourced from woods that have grown in West Virginia.
The floor is red oak. The lower half of the walls are dark walnut and the upper half is white walnut. The ceiling is maple and chestnut.

Dioramas show the picturesque beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountain.
The first battle of the Revolutionary War, which took place at Point Pleasant, West Virginia, in 1774, is depicted on a mural.

Another mural depicts the first Civil War battle at Philippi in 1861.
