The Guiana Pavilion was located on a floating body and was a large forest building made up of shafts symbolising the wonderful Guyanese forest.

Its roof was a replica of a 16th century Cayenne dwelling.

The magnificent samples of its wood were erected as totemic architectures, and two large dioramas showed you the riches of this beautiful colony, one of the oldest and least known of our overseas Empire.
