The wide-open doors of the Uruguay pavilion invited you to visit this building with its graceful and serene lines, decorated with a large exterior fresco.

The windows were set out in the open air like street stalls.

The interior offered a faithful summary of the country's industrial, craft and artistic activities and its cultural values, showing you how advanced its legislation was for the working classes, the protection of motherhood, childhood and old age, and what great progress the Republic had made in education. Photographs and dioramas showed the development of tourism in Uruguay.
