Great Mass of Fine Arts

Great Mass of Fine Arts at the Exhibition Expo Paris 1937

Architect(s) : Etienne Vago, élève de l'école des Beaux-Arts

The Great Mass of Fine Arts had designed an original pavilion, which was intended to express the activity of the school's students.

Large monumental statues represented the five arts: sculpture, painting, engraving, architecture and music. A mural, occupying a whole panel, depicted the episodic phases of life at the school.

It was the first time that the Great Mass took part in an International Exhibition.
