Tobacco -

Tobacco at the Exhibition Expo Paris 1937
Architect(s) : Mallet-Stevens

This pavilion is entirely covered with a beautiful vermeil mahogany like a luxury cigar box. In addition to its counters, where the most recent and perfect products of the Régie Française are on sale, the pavilion exhibits the various phases of tobacco preparation, from cultivation to the packaging of cigars and cigarettes.

A charming retrospective recalls the taste and use of "petun" through the centuries, snuffboxes, tobacco rasps and pots, pipes, lighters, various engravings.

Non-smokers themselves will enjoy this short journey into the past.
