San Marino, a small autonomous republic in the Italian Alps, near Rimmini, has two major industries.
One is a state monopoly: the issue of stamps, which are collectors' items all over the world.
The other is the handmade production of highly prized pottery, which is usually impossible to obtain in the United States.
The San Marino Pavilion, located on the east side of the International Mall, showcases the products of both industries. The stamp collection on display at the exhibition includes many unique items for collectors. The stamps are for sale. The exhibition shows the skills of the national craftsmen in making pottery.
