The meaning and scientific content of the thematic elements will be illustrated in the 372-seat Du Pont of Canada Auditorium through lectures, meetings and scientific film projections. The auditorium is equipped with a modern sound system, a cinema system and the necessary equipment for simultaneous translation. It is located on St Helena Island, close to the Expo-Express and metro stations.

The main conferences will be devoted to pure and applied science, humanities and social sciences. The speakers, eminent scientists and scholars, will address selected audiences.

On Saturday, distinguished Canadian scientists will give lectures and demonstrations for high school students.

"Overview 67": an international programme of scientific films. Each day, for three hours, outstanding films from participating countries will be shown. In addition, there will be national and international lectures on various fields of science and humanities.
