Spiral - Expo Montreal 1967
The Spiral, which combined a ride with a panoramic excursion, was a major draw for photographers.
It was a 312 foot high tower supporting a two-story rotating cabin for 60 passengers.
The cabin rose in a slow rotary motion, paused at the top and then returned to the ground, still spiralling.
