Our pavilion presented a panorama of the history, life, art and customs of Murcia (a region that was active in the era of the discoveries, and to whom we owe the submarine and the autogyro), and of its natural bounty, symbolised by flowers (the emblem of the country) generated by its wonderful climate that tourists enjoy.

Our rich and varied gastronomy, prepared with an ancestral art from our incomparable products (an unrivalled vegetable garden and orchard and abundant fishing), our prosperous industry (vegetable preserves, of which we are the pioneers, floriculture and furniture), our most deeply rooted traditions (Holy Week, carnivals, spring festivities, etc.), our art and culture (Salzillo, Narciso, Yepes, Paco Rabal, Miguel Espinosa, etc.) were all present in our pavilion.
