The Cruzcampo Group, leader in the Spanish beer sector, with breweries in Seville, Madrid, Jaen, Málaga, Valencia Ciudad Real, San Sebastian and Bilbao, was the official partner of Expo'92, as the Cruzcampo brand was the official beer supplier of the 1992 Seville Universal Exposition.
The Cruzcampo group, which has a wide range of brands, had exclusive sales rights in all the establishments licensed by the organisers, which made its participation in this great event highly significant.
Given Cruzcampo's links with Andalusia, and especially with Seville, where the brewery La CruzdelCampo, SA, founded in 1904 and considered the matrix of the group, could not miss this great event and became one of the pioneering companies in supporting Expo'92.
It was in this spirit that it participated with its permanent pavilion, with a surface area of 2,400 m2 and located in a privileged spot near the Lake of Spain.
This pavilion housed a small brewery with a capacity of 5,000 litres per day, so that visitors could see how our beer is made on a small scale, thanks to the exact reproduction of the different elements that go into making this product.
At the same time, the pavilion displayed a selection of historical material tracing the evolution of our companies over almost a century and showing the current importance of our presence in the Spanish beer sector.
For those who wished to taste our products, the pavilion offered, in addition to the typical Andalusian "tapas", a large brewery, with a capacity of around 800 people, where visitors could have a good time, thanks also to a wide variety of shows.
Our pavilion was intended to be a meeting point for all consumers of our brands and a faithful demonstration of the quality, importance and prestige of our group.
