The pavilion consists of three clear and transparent cubic buildings and three inner courtyards, each representing the ocean, the desert and the rainforest. They are connected by ramps.

The pyramid and the square, two essential aspects of Mexican architecture, are intertwined in this pavilion.

The visitor started his journey by climbing the pyramid and entered the large square where films about the history of the country were shown.
