Singapore - Expo Aichi 2005

The Singapore pavilion featured "Blends of urban and garden environments, harmony of past and present, and work and leisure, and fusion of a variety of cultures." The pavilion housed a number of exhibition areas so that visitors could fully appreciate Singapore's attractive features.
The rainy "Nature of the City" area on the grass provided visitors with an opportunity to see that Singapore has made great efforts in reforestation despite the country being a city state.
Visitors could also see the scenes of rehearsal by actors and actresses and their make-up and warm-up in the "taste of culture" area. Moreover, modern street art works were presented.
The "Memory for Future Generations" zone was a library where visitors could read books on stories based on the experiences of Singaporeans.
