Cirque du Soleil reinvents the parade and creates a show in which the troupe interprets the legend, "Le réveil du serpent". The Canadian troupe seeks to "make the clouds move to create a new legend, that of the rainbow. The characters must summon the snake to evoke the clouds and bring about the wonderful powers of rain. The choreographed journey is punctuated by high-level acrobatic acts such as diabolos, ribbon manipulation, circles, etc., so that the audience, who cannot see the acts at the various stops, can be moved by the acrobatic magic of Cirque du Soleil. The snake and its acolytes, the gardeners and their birds of paradise, plant symbolic trees as a visual and aural token of the snake's passage through the day and night. The parade smells like wet earth as it passes.
Expo Zaragoza's loudspeakers are at the service of the parade to create and broadcast the different sounds that immerse the audience in a - World of legends. "Among the acrobatics that can be seen throughout the parade and in the five parades are the "simple wheel". The "rain-stick seesaw", the "Russian bar". "Russian Bar". "Aerial acrobatics", "trapeze", "canvas", "aerial circle duo". The audience can participate along the route, especially with the "cloud shepherds", which can only move with the participation of the spectators.
The beginning and end of the parade takes place in front of the sculpture by Jaume Plensa. "The Soul of the Ebro".
