Water is the fundamental element for the establishment of societies. Once obtained, people can develop and continue to grow. Based on this principle, the Nepalese pavilion shows us how it has been possible to combine the response to this basic need with a living culture and buildings of indigenous origin in the valley where its capital, Kathmandu, is located. The contents of its exhibition include a typical door and window, an informative audio-visual presentation on the particularities of its territory, a fountain of desires including a sculpture, a reproduction of a pathway and didactic panels, as well as a culinary exhibition, a fast food service and a souvenir shop. The venue's offer is completed by a stage where the cultural and musical programme of this delegation to the international exhibition is proposed. With this proposal, Nepal wants to show the harmonious coexistence of natural beauty, spiritual peace and material development.
