The richness of Slovakian waters and the importance of exploiting this resource are two of the aspects that the country is presenting at the Expo. In addition, Slovakia is taking advantage of its presence at this international event to make its territory known to the general public, since this is the first time it has participated in an event of this category as a member of the European Union. To this end, it is proposing two routes of different lengths to meet the interests and expectations of the public. The first one allows the visitor to get quick and easy access to the most important information about the country, to buy mineral waters or souvenirs at the water bar and to discover the tourism opportunities of the Slovak Republic, i.e. a territory combining unspoilt nature, monuments and mineral and thermal springs. The second tour is part of a broader proposal, combining sounds, images and sensory perceptions. The visitor moves from a dark space, surrounded by a starry sky, to an optimistic image of Slovakia. The visitor can also taste different types of mineral water in a glass as a souvenir of the exhibition, while a small screen informs the visitor about the origin of the drink. The tour ends again in the dark, before the public is introduced to the specialist displays.
