Nigeria regards water as a unique resource that unites people and satisfies socio-economic and cultural needs. In fact, this territory takes its name from the River Niger. The aim of the country's participation in Expo Zaragoza is to contribute to the scientific debate on the topics presented in the exhibition and, in addition, to make the international community aware of the economic reform programmes of their current administration, to promote the country's possibilities and to show the richness and diversity of its cultural heritage and tourist destinations. To this end, it has prepared an exhibition based on interactive audiovisual material on its territory, which will be accompanied by textile installations, mobile banners, sound and image projections and a statistical and documentary background on the country. On the other hand, the thematic presentation includes information on peoples and customs, natural resources and tourist attractions, among other aspects. In addition, it offers brochures and specialised publications on the country's trade and industry. The pavilion's offer is complemented by other services, such as a restaurant, shops, souvenirs and other water-related items.
