Croatia - Expo Zaragoza 2008
The Croatian pavilion unites philosophical and spiritual imagination with reality in order to inspire visitors to reflect. The entrance door is the information point for the pavilion's theme. Impressions created by images and sounds introduce the visitor to the basic element of water in an atmosphere that reminds us of the richness of the underwater world. The tour continues on the water surface to a room where the movement of the visitors makes the space react and causes waves and sounds. At the exit, visitors climb a few steps to rise metaphorically above the surface of the water while the atmosphere changes completely. Visitors sit along a gallery to watch a film about Croatia. The land, the sea, the cities, the people and their culture are shown as if from a bird's eye view, with the idea that Croatians can get everything from something as simple as a drop of water. At the exit, before leaving the pavilion, the visitor goes up the stairs to the shop while listening to traditional music and can also exchange impressions with other visitors. Tourist information about the country is also available.
