Kuwait is a country that has always been sensitive to the issue of water. The pavilion is a large, deep, longitudinal space with a collage of the traditional gateway to Kuwait City and the new aluminium and glass buildings. The interior of the pavilion is organised around a central passage space, surrounded by thematic areas. The contents are divided into three categories: the sea, the city and the desert. The sea is the starting point and leads the visitor into the interior of the country. A drop of water serves as a central element and facilitates the movement of visitors. The ensemble is completed by a four-dimensional projection that can be viewed from mobile seats. Screens and panels provide detailed information on advances in water treatment. The first stage of the tour presents the space devoted to the city, a dynamic space characterised by large-scale projections in panoramic format. Finally, there is the desert, a space that allows a virtual journey. Backlit vinyl canvases are used as explanatory panels.
