Water as the heritage of a civilisation and major water management projects are the subjects of the exhibition at the Algerian Pavilion. In the entrance, the visitor encounters the famous sculpture 'L'abreuvoir' and is then led to an oasis where he can admire a replica of a traditional system for the collection and rational distribution of water in the desert, the 'fogara'. The visit continues in the virtual theatre with a projection that follows the water paths from the ancestral fogara to the large hydraulic infrastructures. At the end of the show, the desert is transformed into the Mediterranean Sea, linking Algeria and Spain with the world.
Finally, the source of reflections shows with an infinite number of images the life in Algeria, its cultural richness, its national diversity and the great hydraulic works. A shop selling Algerian handicrafts offers to buy a souvenir of the visit.
