Costa Rica has opted to give its exhibition proposal the shape of a drop of water, and its objective in the Expo is to express the importance of nature for its development as a nation. The exhibition presents the project 'Peace with Nature', by the president of Costa Rica and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Oscar Arias; an ambitious pacifist proposal for the environment. In addition, the country exhibits in its pavilion rich biological corridors, 35 initiatives that allow a complete development of fauna and flora. A pioneering programme in which the provision of environmental services is passed on to the beneficiaries is also presented. And with a project developed exclusively for the Expo by the National Forestry Financing Fund, visitors can find out about the emissions produced by a trip to any place in the world. In the 'Children's Eternal Forest' visitors will be able to interact, and a totem pole with an indigenous legend about water, as well as a non-permanent tattoo area for children, complete the interesting offer of this pavilion.
