The exhibition is conceived as a sequence of perceptions, information and communication. Firstly, the visitor will come into contact with the reality of all the Caricom member countries and experience the power of nature. They will then enter the natural, cultural and artistic wealth of each of them. Haiti, more specifically, is a land of contrasts, magical and surprising in geographical terms, with a gentle coastline shaped by the Caribbean Sea and a steep, mountainous interior full of waterfalls, caves, forests and beautiful tropical landscapes. Haiti's seabed is filled with whimsical coral formations, a multitude of colourful fish and the exciting spectacle of sunken ship remains. Its cultural richness combines its colonial past with African echoes and the mysterious beliefs of voodoo. The essence and sense of joy and life of the Haitian people is the result of these wonderful contrasts and its overflowing cultural heritage.
