Antigua and Barbuda shows in the Expo the attributes that make this island one of the world's leading paradise destinations and its relationship with water. In this small Pacific island, where tourism is the main economic activity, the concept of water and sustainable development is extremely important. On 13 July, Antigua and Barbuda will introduce visitors to Caribbean music with the talent of one of the country's most popular bands, the 3 Cylinder Band, and a sample of its world-famous carnival. These shows will take place in the Pavilion Islas y Costas from 7 to 9 pm. The island's carnival is a fantastic celebration of music and dance that takes place every year from the last week of July to the first week of August. The most important day is the J'ouvert (o Juvè), during which the bands play for all the islanders.
