A set of lights projected on a fountain in the centre of the stand: this is what Qatar offers us. Water, a rare commodity in the Middle East, is presented on the stand as the essence of the country. Qatar's hospitality is reflected in the tasting of Arabian coffee and tea, the kind consumed by the country's inhabitants. Qatar is a peninsula that has been transformed by water. This transformation has had an impact on the country's economy as well as its physical appearance. It is represented on the stand by an interactive map where one can appreciate the large sandy areas and oases where the colour green dominates the landscape. Various interactive screens give an overview of the oil and gas industry business. The spectacular and modern architectural samples on display have been brought from Qatar to Zaragoza. Souq Waqef is a stand area where different audiovisual media can be viewed in a setting that is similar to Europe, but with the decoration and artistic elements of this Middle Eastern country.
