The Balearic Islands pavilion at the Expo has two different areas: a reception area, a space prepared to handle queues within the grounds, and another exhibition area. The first is a space that precedes the start of a journey... a journey that is not only sensory but also conceptual. A journey in which the five senses will be at full capacity so that, at the end, the visitor can come to his own conclusions. The exhibition area, for its part, is divided into three rooms called Aljub, Cisterna and Safareig. These are very different spaces, not only in terms of their proportion and geometry, but also in terms of their content and the way in which they are transmitted to the visitor. In them you can relax and 'digest' the past and 'ingest' the present, and even 'feel' small 'molecules' of the Balearic Islands.
