Turkmenistan - Expo Shanghai 2010
The pavilion has the appearance of a checkered net and adopts modern simplicity, which exhibits the charm of Turkmenistan as a Central Asian country. Bright colours, yellow-brown and light grey adorn the interior of the pavilion. The theme of the pavilion is "Better City, Better Life" and "Oil perpetuates the urban dream".
It shows the country's customs and geography through real objects and multimedia.
- The short video shows the country's tourism resources and tells the story of the famous blood-sweating horse. The touch screen allows visitors to learn more about the long history and culture of the country's nomads.
- The pavilion uses state-of-the-art technology to showcase jewellery, archaeological finds and the carpet-making process.
