The pavilion consists of two sloping roofs like an offshore "wooden ship". The cross-cutting of the roof peak is a special feature of Malaysian construction.
The tour lift is designed like the "Petronas Towers" skyscraper in Kuala Lumpur. Visitors can feel the charm of world heritage like Pulau Pinang town and Malacca city, experience the joyful life of Malay families and enjoy the art objects and their making.

- The outer wall of the pavilion, which is inspired by traditional Malay printing and dyeing, is covered with decorative designs of butterflies, flowers, birds and geometric figures.

- Visitors can play mini-golf and traditional Malaysian indoor games to get a feel for Malaysian urban life.
