Meteorological - Expo Shanghai 2010
The World Meteorological Organisation, the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites and the Group on Earth Observations were jointly involved in the design and layout of the Pavilion.
The pavilion, like a "Drop in the Cloud", is composed of four spheroids in the form of a cloud. Visitors can experience a wander in the cloud, enjoy the "Wonder on the Cloud Top" and consider the quality weather services of the "Future Home".
- Two "Cloud Baby" virtual guides, Lanlan and Duoduo, guide visitors to take the "Hot Air Balloon" and enjoy the global weather wonders.
- The 4D cinema presents the evolution of the weather.
- The Expo's weather station offers visitors accurate weather forecasts, and the world's famous weather presenters will be present at the Day of Honour.
