The pavilion consists of two circuits dividing the pavilion into inner and outer parts. Seen from above, it has the shape of a spiral. The pavilion is like an open book of fairy tales, presenting the daily life, character, interests and wishes of the Danes.
- For the first time, the "Little Mermaid", the symbol of Denmark, will be sent to China, allowing visitors to discover Andersen's fairy tale kingdom.
- The pavilion offers hundreds of bicycles, so that visitors can cycle through a Danish city to discover the lives and dreams of the Danes.
