The pavilion takes on the appearance of the "Kite Forest", which represents the idea of the future urban life advocated by Mexico. On the outside, a large public space in green colour is laid out, which suggests ecology, environmental protection and peace. Inside, three spaces "Past", "Present" and "Future" represent respectively the history, the culture and the dream of the country. The green space is at the heart of the pavilion's exhibition.

- The pillars supporting the "kites" are pierced with holes that let out vaporised water. Electronic displays showcase key sustainability projects.

- Many Mexican art objects are displayed in the pavilion.

- You can buy and make a kite in a handicraft shop and launch your kite in the square or in the outdoor green space.
