Norway - Expo Yeosu 2012
The overall objective of Norway's participation in Expo 2012 is to strengthen bilateral relations with South Korea, to contribute to the profiling, promotion and support of Norwegian business interests in the Korean market.
The theme of the Norwegian pavilion focuses on nature and proximity to the sea. The exhibition emphasises Norway's long tradition and rich maritime heritage, as well as shipbuilding. Throughout their history, Norwegians have endeavoured to take advantage of all that the sea has to offer.
Fishing and seafood production, the oil industry, and the maritime sector are important features of today's Norway.
