Six little trians were roaming the avenues, full of smoke, wearing green, red, orange, purple, blue and yellow tendelets, in honour of the promoters and directors of the World's Fair: Adolphe (Max), Adrien (van der Burch), Edouard (Caspers), Raymond (Vaxelaire), Charles (Fonck), Joseph (Van de Meulebroeck).
They carried tens of thousands of passengers, stopping at tiny stations like themselves, placed at the main crossroads, and until the last evening faithfully and punctually performed their service.
