As far as machines are concerned, the Hellenes exhibit a few sculptures; but all the sculptors will tell you that they are indeed machines.

Let us note, however, "for the love of Greek," a tiny engine with oscillating cylinders that comes from that island where all Greek activity has taken refuge, Syra. The name reads ?YPO? on the machine. Greek characters on a steam engine have a very special effect.
