The Danish shipping and shipbuilding industry, so richly represented in the daily activity of the port of Antwerp, the one by the number of its ships continuously passing to and fro in this world port and the other by its very advanced rank among the maritime nations, will make known to the many visitors to the International Exhibition their history and development.

Surrounded by the seas, Denmark finds much of its resources there, and the Danish participation will include some of its main ports, its magnificent coastal rescue stations, and its means of combating the difficulties of the ice which the rigours of the northern winter often bring to Danish waters.

The Danish pavilion will also contain propaganda for tourism, as well as different branches of Danish industry related to maritime trade.
