The Delhaize Frères & C° "Le Lion" establishments have, from the beginning, taken part in all the Exhibitions, both National and International, and have obtained 168 of the highest and most flattering distinctions. This year they were keen to justify once more their world-wide reputation and the prominent place they occupy in the country's trade and industry.

In Antwerp they exhibited :
Their dry biscuits, pastries and gingerbread.
Their chocolates and confectionery.
Their foodstuffs and preserves.
Their wines, liqueurs and spirits.
Their perfumeries, toilet and household soaps.
The products of their general manufacture of brushes and mats.

They also participated:
In the chocolate and confectionery community.
In the wine and spirits community.

Apart from these participations, they occupied a marvellous stand in the Belgian section of Group X, of which we give a reproduction, of more than 250 m2 of surface area, where the main products of their manufacture were also exhibited, sold and tasted, in particular their coffee, biscuits and confectionery. Their colonial department occupied an important place there, displaying to the public its packaging system so appreciated by the Colonials and Factories, as shown by the numerous certificates made available to the visitors.

This brilliant and important participation earned them 5 Diplomas of Members of the Jury, Hors Concours and 2 Grand Prix Diplomas.
