The Expo Centre is a covered space dedicated to cultural entertainment and measures 129,000 cubic metres.
Inside the Expo Centre there are three independent blocks:
- An Auditorium: a space for conferences and workshops, with a purpose-built concert hall with seating for 1,500 people.
- The Open Square: the central area for all the shows and performances during the six months of Expo Milano 2015. Visitors can use this area to relax, even when there are no shows taking place.
- The Meeting Area: composed of conference rooms, this area is located in the southern part of the Expo Centre.
Thanks to these flexible and adaptable structures, many types of events and performances can be hosted here, from musicals to theatrical performances to dance shows.
