Uruguay is participating for the first time in a World Expo with its own pavilion, conceived and designed by Uruguayan architects.
The pavilion, with a surface area of 785 square metres, has an innovative design that offers various thematic spaces where visitors can discover the different aspects of the country.

The architecture of the pavilion has been designed with an emphasis on the ecological balance between green and built areas.
The spiral structure is built with 100% recyclable and reusable materials.

The pavilion has an exhibition area focused on an audiovisual immersion experience about Uruguay, a gastronomic space where visitors can taste the flavor of authentic Uruguayan barbecue, a space available to companies for Uruguayans interested in holding business meetings, and a souvenir shop where visitors can purchase traditional products from the country.
