The Finnish pavilion at Expo 2020 is hosting over 100 Finnish companies. This is a strong sign of our commitment to reach this region and beyond. We are also determined to share a future of happiness with the rest of the world.

The Finnish pavilion is located in the mobility district of Expo 2020 and is called the Snow Cape. Its 1,867 square metre cubic pavilion is under the theme "Sharing Future Happiness", which is based on the symbiosis between man, nature and technology. Visitors will discover Finland's main strengths: nature and sustainability, education and know-how, functionality and well-being.

At first glance, the pavilion is simple: it reflects the simple and relaxed lifestyle of the Finns. Visitors will find themselves in a deep circular gorge, surrounded by the gentle lapping of shallow pools of water, in homage to the 'land of a thousand lakes'.

In line with the objectives of Expo 2020, the Finnish pavilion aims to raise visitors' awareness of the impact of their environmental choices. Avoiding waste by recycling scarce resources is just one way the Nordic nation is making progress on sustainability. Finland is also the first country in the world to create a circular economy roadmap, aiming to move to a zero waste model by 2025.
