The motto of the Spanish Pavilion, "Intelligence for Life", summarizes the priorities of the Pavilion: our capacity for innovation and our desire to preserve a good quality of life on the planet, for ourselves and for future generations.
The Pavilion, managed by Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) -a public company responsible for Spain's presence in universal and international exhibitions-, has an area of approximately 5,800 m2, highlighting a large plaza covered by a series of conical volumes, of great visual appeal. Part of its cladding is made of ultra-light and flexible photovoltaic panels designed by the Spanish company
The South Oracle (TSO). Its distinctive sign will be its high and colored cones in which the atavistic memory of the colors has been recovered to transmit the character of the Mediterranean culture and link the theme of sustainability with a message of optimism.
