Located in the Opportunity District, tourism and sustainable development are the focus of the Bhutan Pavilion. The world's last Shangri-La showcases some of its national artifacts and paintings, as well as a special collection of miniatures from Taktsang Monastery. Bhutan, also known as the "Land of Happiness", considers the level of happiness of its citizens a better indicator of its prosperity than its GDP. The pavilion explains the country's Gross National Happiness philosophy in more detail.

Visitors to the Bhutan pavilion will have the privilege of learning about the country's initiatives in environmental conservation, good governance practices, and the preservation and promotion of its culture. This small landlocked country in the eastern Himalayas has a population of just over 750,000.

The Bhutan Pavilion showcases the country's rich culture and tourism offerings, and highlights Bhutan's example of socio-economic development, which it implements in harmony with nature.
