The energetic Iraq Pavilion takes the undulating form of a traditional fishing net al saliya, a symbol of wealth, wisdom and goodness in Mesopotamian culture.

Step beneath the vast canopy to be swept away by a series of exciting exhibitions sharing the determination and vision of the newest generation of leaders, creators and artists from this Middle Eastern nation.

Delve into millennia of rich history and heritage, then meet proud Iraqi business leaders and innovators.

A wide, diamond-patterned white metal canopy is shaped to resemble a net thrown from a boat into the water.

The canopy forms an undulating shell that shades the outdoor exhibits below.

Each diamond is filled with yellow, orange or red panels, creating a gradient of warm hues.

Once under the net, a wide path lined with media panels details Iraq's history and future, ending in a large shaded stage framed by palm trees.
