The United States has a real Machine Palace a little further away, which occupies a vast space on the side of the Municipal Velodrome.

A formidable travelling crane of 3o tons, circulating throughout the Palace, allowed the rapid installation of the numerous machines exhibited, among which we shall mention: a 300 horsepower Compound machine operating a dynamo which provides light for the lighting and services of the entire Vincennes Exhibition; several large air compressors and various powerful mining machines.
