Mississippi at the Exhibition Expo Saint-Louis 1904

South of the Iowa pavilion and east of the New Jersey pavilion is the pavilion used as headquarters for visitors from the state of Mississippi.

The building is a copy of Beauvoir, the house bequeathed to Jefferson Davis on the Gulf Coast by Mrs. S.A. Dorsey.

Where the President of the Southern Confederacy spent the last years of his life.

The exterior dimensions are 90 by 90 feet and the building cost $15,000 to construct.
