This building, illustrating the strength and grandeur of the state, is in the Doric style of architecture and represents Montana.
It was erected at a cost of $8,000 and covers an area of 124 by 90 feet. The windows and doors are so arranged that they can be opened over the whole building on warm days.
The exterior walls are wood with a grooved sheathing nailed to the outside. The envelope is covered with ivory white stucco.
