New Mexico

New Mexico at the Exhibition Saint-Louis 1904

The design of the New Mexico building is in the Spanish Renaissance style.

The building cost $6053. It covers an area of 40 by 62 feet, and is located on the main road leading to the U.S. Fishing Pavilion.

New Mexico has exhibits in the departments of Education, Mining and Metallurgy, Anthropology, Agriculture and Horticulture. The main exhibit is the Mining and Metallurgy exhibit.

The Commission offers an exhibition on the work in the turquoise mines, showing how the stones are cut, polished and prepared for the market.
